A good interior job is mostly prep. Furniture is moved and covered, floors are protected, holes and cracks are filled and sanded, gaps in trim are caulked, and stains are spot primed before any finish coat goes on.

How we prep a room
We protect floors and furniture, fill and sand imperfections, caulk trim joints and spot prime patches and stains. Then two finish coats, cut in by brush and rolled for an even texture.
Which sheen goes where
Flat on ceilings to hide imperfections. Matte or eggshell on walls. Satin or semi-gloss on trim and doors, where it has to stand up to hands and cleaning.
Do I need to move out?
No. We work room by room and keep the house usable. Low-odor, low-VOC paints are available on request.
